Would you consider working one week each month in beautiful NC?  This location is one hour south of Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, a beautiful and progressive area of the state.  We hold an exclusive government contract at this VAMC and we are running the ED schedule nights, weekends and holidays.  The twelve hour shifts are scheduled utilizing a block format of five to seven consecutive shifts each month, so pick your schedule!  This is not a trauma center, and there are no OB or peds patients - most patient encounters are medical in nature. 

We have a good pay rate and we’ll also cover expenses and mal practice.  Because this is a VAMC and a government contract, NO specific state license is required.  BC/BE with FP or IM training and EM experience and clean background.
