Ruddy Polhill

Ruddy Polhill – Founder/President & CEO

Mr. Ruddy Polhill is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of HealthCare Partners. He started HCP in 1996 and the company has experienced growth ever since. Under his leadership and hard work the company was selected and received Gwinnett County’s 2009 Top 25 Pinnacle Small Business Award. Mr. Polhill also serves as President of the Board of Directors for The National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations (NALTO). Prior to his venture with HCP, Mr. Polhill spent 8 years in management and finance. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Auburn University. While at Auburn Mr. Polhill was a member of the 1983 SEC Football Championship team.

Caring beyond business:
Mr. Polhill actively focuses on community involvement. He supports Dream House for medically fragile children, Lighthouse family retreat for families who have a child with cancer and Young Life ministries.

Rhonda Polhill

Rhonda Polhill – Cofounder/Vice President of Sales

Mrs. Rhonda Polhill is a cofounder and the Vice President of Sales at HealthCare Partners. Mrs. Polhill started in the recruiting business in Anesthesia and later cofounded HealthCare Partners in 1996. She is a graduate from Auburn University with a degree in Communications. She is passionate about taking care of clients and providers better than anyone else in the industry. Mrs. Polhill states, “People do not care how much you know until they know how much you care.” She believes in the leadership team at HCP and the impact they make through their work.

Caring beyond business:

Mrs. Polhill believes in giving back and created an opportunity for all HCP employees to give back to meaningful charities such as local food banks, children’s healthcare and Veteran organizations. She is the chairperson for a local Young Life committee and invests in microloans helping third world entrepreneurs through www.Kiva.org.

Brian Baker

Brian Baker - Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Brian Baker joined the HCP team in January of 2009 as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Baker served as the CFO of Husky Foundations, Inc., Financial Controller for The Providence Group, an Auditor for Ernst & Young, and a Commercial Lender for SunTrust Bank. Mr. Baker earned his B.A in finance from Cal State Fullerton and an M.B.A. in accounting from Mercer University. He was recognized for outstanding academics during his time at Mercer. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Georgia and a member of the American Institute of CPA's and the Georgia Society of CPA's. Mr. Baker is dedicated to seeing HCP grow by directing process improvements and overseeing the accounting, operations and human resources.

Mr. Baker is an actively involved in HCP's “Big Give” program and participates in a variety of activities with his local church.

Rosa Smith

Rosa Smith – Director of Credentialing & Privileging

Mrs. Rosa Smith is the Director of Credentialing and Privileging for HCP.  Prior to her history at HCP, Mrs. Smith has spent 23 years in the field working with Jackson and Coker, Emory University, Wesley Woods Geriatric Hospital, Sheppard’s Spinal Center and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.  Her expertise in the field has provided many opportunities to consult privately with other firms.  Mrs. Smith attended college in the Atlanta area to study nursing and she discovered her passion for this line of work. She is a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) and is an active member of the Georgia Association of Medical Staff Services and the National Association of Medical Staff Services.

Caring beyond business:

Mrs. Smith volunteers regularly throughout the year helping to feed the hungry and homeless in the Atlanta area. She is also actively involved in her husband's outreach ministry.
Dan Melson

Dan Melson – Vice President of Permanent Placement

Mr. Dan Melson joined the HCP team in 2003 and has been in the medical staffing industry for over 25 years. He attended Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Melson was an original member of the medical staffing firm Jackson and Coker. Mr. Melson was awarded top recruiter five separate times in the 1980’s including a four year streak from 1982-1985. Later, Mr. Melson started his own staffing firm which was recognized as one of Georgia’s fastest growing firms under 50 employees in 1991. He also served from 1989-1991 on the Senatorial Commission for Healthcare Reform with George H. Bush, Rush Limbaugh, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bob Dole, and others with a goal to improve the state of our nations healthcare services and systems. Mr. Melson was representing doctors during the Senatorial Commission for Healthcare Reform.

Mr. Melson is passionately involved with numerous local and national charities, including the American Cancer Society and road races benefiting Emory University’s cancer research.

Gigi Peeples-Moore

Gigi Peeples-Moore – Team Leader, Commercial Division

Mrs. Gigi Peeples-Moore is an effective member of the HCP team. She serves as a Team Leader for Client Managers, Recruiters and Marketers that serve HCP’s Commercial clients. She has attended Sacramento City College and Wesleyan University, earning a degree in Social Science. Mrs. Peeples-Moore spent 17 years in the marketing, advertising and human resource fields with Varian Associates and Chips and Technologies in California. And now has close to 15 years of Physician Staffing experience since joining HCP in 1999. Gigi has been recognized for her sales achievements and has been noted as a gifted mentor to others in the company.

Peeples-Moore has held leadership roles in her church and is a member of several charitable organizations in her community.
Shayna Pagattah

Shayna Pagattah – Director of Correctional Medicine

Mrs. Shayna Pagattah has enjoyed 10 years with HCP, building the Correctional Medicine Division from the ground up.  Mrs. Pagattah brings with her 30 years of medical staffing and recruiting experience as well as a strong Human Resources background within the medical field.  Mrs. Pagattah has been successfully recruiting for large correctional systems for almost 15 years and holds a great understanding of the unique nuances of this exciting sub-specialty field.

Caring beyond business:
Mrs. Pagattah is annually active in supporting local Hospice organizations.  A certified Biofeedback Therapist, she frequently provides these services at free clinics and to residents of her community who are unable to afford this critical care.
